These drinks blend frighteningly good flavors with a chilling presentation, making every sip an adventure. Perfect for adding a dash of creepy to your Halloween festivities, these deadly recipes play with colors and garnishes to create something spookylicious. They’re great for any event that calls for a bit of eerie excitement, beyond the pale. For a touch of evil in your next get-together, this post is a ghoulishly good Halloween drink guide.
This White Buffalo cocktail was crafted using Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream and is known for its rich flavor and is a key component in the drink.
2 oz. Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream
2 oz. Half anfd Half
1/2 oz. of Hazelnut Liqueur
1/2 oz. of Amaretto
1/4 oz. of Simple Syrup
3/4 oz. Rum
A dash of cinnamon (Optional)
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine Bourbon Cream, amaretto, hazelnut liqueur, syrup and rum into cocktail shaker. Fill ½ with ice and shake. Strain into rocks glass over ice. Alternatively, you can frappè the bourbon cream and the rest in a blender with ice. Serve with a ghostly garnish of whipped cream.
The Scartini includes gin, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Gomme syrup, and bitters.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
2 oz. Dry Gin
3/4 oz. Crème Yvette or Crème de Violette
1/4 oz. Maraschino Liqueur
1/4 oz. Dry Vermouth
1/4 oz. Gomme syrup (optional)
A few dashes Bitters
Strip of Orange zest
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine the ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a strip of orange zest or bats.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
3/4 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Rum
3/4 oz. Blue Curaçao
1 oz. Pineapple juice
1/2 oz. Lime juice
1/2 oz. Coco Reàl, Cream of Coconut (optional)
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine 3/4 ounce vodka, 3/4 ounce white rum, 1 ounce fresh pineapple juice, 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice, and 3/4 ounce blue curaçao in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass. Garnish with skulls, candy bones, etc. The foamy effect can be achieved by swirling in cream of coconut syrup.
To make a classic Bloody Mary.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
4 oz. Tomato juice
1-1/2 oz. Vodka
Dash of hot sauce
Squirt of Lemon juice
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine 4 ounces of tomato juice, 1 ounce of vodka, a dash of hot sauce and lemon juice in a mixing glass with ice. Stir gently, strain into a glass filled with fresh ice, and garnish with a celery stick and lemon slice.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
1 oz. Blackberries
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
1/2 Serrano Pepper
Salt or sugar for rimming (Optional)
HOW TO MIX IT
Muddle the blackberries and the slice of serrano pepper with the simple syrup. Add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Shake with ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Add ice and strain into the glass. The ingredients can also be blended with ice. Rim your glass with black and white sugar if desired. Garnish with black food coloring.
A Maniacal Mule cocktail typically consists of three main ingredients, vodka or tequila, ginger beer, and fresh lime juice.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
2 oz. of Tequila or Vodka
1 oz. Lime juice
Top off with Ginger Beer (Trader Joe’s or Freddie’s Old-Fashioned Soda)
HOW TO MIX IT
To make it, fill a glass with ice, add 2 ounces of vodka and 1 ounce of lime juice, then top it off with ginger beer and red gel food color. Garnish with a lime wedge, plastic eyeball, spider, etc.
The Raspberry Bramble is a refreshing cocktail made with gin, lemon juice, and raspberry liqueur, typically garnished with fresh raspberries.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
1-1/2 oz. Gin
1/2 oz. of simple syrup
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Drizzle of Raspberry liqueur or Chambourd
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine 1.5 oz of gin, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a glass filled with crushed ice, and drizzle 0.5 oz of Chambord or raspberry liqueur over the top for a layered effect. Garnish with raspberries, candy spiders, knives or whater you like. Muwahaha!

1-1/2 oz. white rum
1-1/2 oz. golden rum
1-1/2 oz. dark rum
1 oz. apricot brandy
1 oz. pineapple juice
1 oz. papaya juice
½ oz. 151-proof rum
Dash of grenadine
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine the ingredients except the 151 rum and serve over ice. Carefully float the 151-proof rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. You may set it on fire if desired.
Frappèd Frog Scum is a mint-flavored cocktail made with equal parts green crème de menthe, white crème de cacao, half cream and half milk, served in a chilled glass. Known for its green color and creamy, rich texture it is also enjoyed as a dessert.

Half and Half
HOW TO MIX IT
For a pitcher of Frog Scum, combine 20 ounces or 2-1/2 cups of each ingredient. Blend with ice for a more dessert / shake experience. You can rim your evil glass wear with brown sugar.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
2 oz. Vodka
4 oz. Ginger Ale
1 oz. Grape juice
¼ oz. Lime Juice
1 slice lime
Orange food color
HOW TO MIX IT
Combine the ingredients except the grape juice and serve over ice. Carefully float the grape juice on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
